Fiestas Patronales de Rincón or Rincon’s Patron Saint Festival

If you are staying at your Rincon Apartment Rental this weekend you will want to check out the celebration of  Fiestas Patronales de Rincón happening in and around Downtown.

The official location of the Fiestas Patronales de Rincón or Rincon’s Patron Saint Festival is Plaza Amastad.   You won't miss it while the Festival is going on as there are vendors, live music, carnival rides and people .... lots of friendly happy people.

A little bit about the celebration - from BE Rincon

"Why is Santa Rosa de Lima our patron saint? The Catholic Church located in the town Plaza, which was founded in 1789, originally had two patron saints, but currently it only has one named Santa Rosa de Lima. Legend has it, that her parents left Rincón, Puerto Rico towards Peru in search of gold and riches, therefore, this patron saint who is known in Catholic religious circles all over the world was truly the daughter of “Rincoeños”. Every year during August a festival is held in honor of Santa Rosa de Lima."

Enjoy your Uniquely Rincon Vacation!
